My first experience in the industry came when I was 16 years old, working with the marketing and communications department at Huddersfield Town.

This early exposure allowed me to dive into the world of professional football marketing. Later, during my second year at university, I rejoined the department for a month.

During my time at Huddersfield Town, I played an active role in assisting with various marketing initiatives and supporting the club’s community engagement efforts. As part of the team, I worked closely with different departments, gaining exposure to brand management and enhancing the club’s connection with local supporters. This experience allowed me to develop a deep understanding of fan engagement and the intricacies of running marketing campaigns in a professional football setting.

Huddersfield Town Ladies

High Profile Interviewing

Initially I joined the Huddersfield Town Ladies Media team to help create new content and increase the volume and standards of their content. An opportunity came up to interview the Head Coach Glen Preston. I jumped at the opportunity and established a foundation in a new skill set.

A breakdown in communication meant a new signing was coming to be interviewed. So I had to adapt and get some questions prepared with no time to do much research. The player was 17 and it was her first ever interview so was a new challenge for us both. after an hour and many takes we eventually got through and we were both happy with the outcome.

Away Day in Sunderland

I created a TikTok of my journey with the team on there cup game at Sunderland. I took responsibility of getting goal highlights which resulted me in standing in the rain and wind to capture some shots and hopefully goals. after a 4-0 loss and one off target shot over the bar it was a rough Sunday in Sunderland
